As 2025 comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on a truly wonder-filled year at haruharu wonder. Each year, we strive to listen and come back with more wonder to share with our community and beyond, bringing you clean, affordable, and most importantly, effective skincare that works for all genders, generations, and skin types.
2025 has been packed with exciting brand updates, events, and launches, and we’re thrilled to spotlight some of the highlights with you, our haruharu wonder community.

This year, we launched eight new products!
We kicked off the year with our first-ever retinol product: the Black Rice Night Knight Retinol Serum. Designed with beginners and sensitive skin in mind, it combines 0.08% microencapsulated retinol with 1% vegan bakuchiol for boosted results minus the dreaded purge.
Alongside our Retinol and Barrier Essence, our Black Rice Barrier Line expanded in April with the Black Rice 5 Ceramide Barrier Cream. This rich yet lightweight cream protects your skin barrier while providing ultimate hydration.
Our Black Bamboo line also welcomed three exciting additions:

Black Bamboo Daily Smoothing Oil – In march we released this luxurious and unique milk-type oil that provides light exfoliation and deep hydration–because body skincare deserves as much attention as facial skincare.

Black Bamboo Frizz-Free Hair Oil – launched in July, with natural floral, citrus, and herbal scents, keeping your hair silky and frizz-tamed in the summer heat–because we support good hair days everyday, even in the humid months.

Black Bamboo Top-To-Toe SPF Veil SPF 50+ – In October we launched this travel-convenient SPF for all-over protection you can take anywhere–because you SPF all year round is a must.
To end the year, we introduced our new Rose PDRN Line, starting with the Rose PDRN Soothing Serum with Azelaic Acid, a triple threat for hydration, soothing, and skin rejuvenation. We’re thrilled to expand this line further in 2026.

Last but certainly not least we brought you more skincare innovation to our Black Rice Barrier Line with our Black Rice Probiotics Barrier 2% NAD+ Serum mist. It’s fast becoming a fan favourite and we’re so excited to see more of you fall in love with this skin innovation and hopefully have it become your skincare must-have item for 2026!
Extra! Extra! We Read All About It!
We were so honoured this year to grace the digital and physical pages of over 300 publications! From skincare rankings like Glamour’s “Top 12 Korean Toner’s for every skin type” which highlighted our Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner, and Allure’s “6 Best Korean Cleansing Oils to Start Your Double-Cleanse Routine” featuring our Black Rice Moisture Cleansing Oil, to 2025 K-Beauty roundups like Vogue’s “The Best Korean Sunscreens That Blend Efficiency With Elegance” showcasing our Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Daily sunscreen SPF 50+, and Style Cartel’s “The Real K-Beauty Heroes” that gives a shout out to our Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence—we’ve been absolutely over the moon with all the love for haruharu wonder products.
We also got to hear from some of our favourite beauty voices! From skincare enthusiasts like UK content creator Natalie O’Neill, who featured both our Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Daily SPF50+ and our Black Rice Moisture Pure Mineral Relief SPF 50+ in her line up of “20 Best Korean Skincare for Acne Scars” blog post. to beauty editors like Derek Deng, who praised our Probiotics Barrier Essence in Byrdie’s “Editors' Picks: The Cozy-Chic Beauty and Fashion Products in Our Winter Routines” for its hydrating, “pillowy, cushiony finish” that makes every product after glide on like a dream.
And the year got even more special with some incredible awards! In November, our Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Daily SPF50+ was named Best Facial SPF in Who What Wear’s Next In Beauty Awards 2025, with product developer and aesthetician Alicia Lartey raving about it being “light as air” with “absolutely no whitecast.”. Then a little later in the month , we were thrilled to receive not one, but two Marie Claire Skin Awards 2025: Best Essence for our Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence with the judges noting that not one of them “regretted this as an extra step in their routine”, and Best Vegan Brand, a recognition that truly reflects everything our brand strives to be.
Seeing all the amazing feedback from both our community and the industry gives us even more drive to keep creating skincare that is clean, affordable, and effective for all.
Coming to a store near you!
2025 was also an exciting year of global expansion for haruharu wonder, with big efforts to bring affordable luxury and daily skincare rituals directly to you! ! We started off the year with the exciting news that our products were now available in stores nationwide at Boots UK. Having previously only been available online, this was a huge milestone for the brand.
This October, the EU saw two more major retailer launches in the UK and Italy!
In the UK, we were thrilled to officially launch both in stores and online at Superdrug, bringing seven of our products to you, including fan favorites like Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Daily SPF 50+, Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner, and Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence. We hope to expand even further in 2026, so keep an eye out for haruharu wonder at your local Superdrug store!
In Italy, we celebrated our first major retailer launch at Douglas, again launching offline and in stores. We introduced 13 products—10 full-sized and 3 travel-sized—including Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence, Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream, and Black Rice Moisture Cleansing Oil. It’s been so exciting to see everyone visit the stores and show off their haruharu wonder hauls!
And in our most thrilling news yet, we are unbelievably excited to announce that on December 28th haruharu wonder will officially be available nationwide at Target US stores. This has been a huge project in the works for some time, and we can hardly believe the day is almost here. We cannot wait for more of you to try our formulas—we know you’ll fall in love!
